An afterschool workshop bringing together 30- 35 middle and high school STEM teachers with scientists and/or engineers from industry, academia, and/or government. Teachers learn about cutting-edge research and innovation, find out how to connect the research to the classroom, and discover ways to inspire and guide their students toward academic opportunities and STEM careers. Teachers engage in networking and discussion with presenters and fellow teachers during the three-hour long program. There is no cost to teachers to attend and dinner is provided. Presentation material and videos, as well as supplementary resources related to Bite of Science session topics, are posted on the TEP Lab Bench following all sessions.
